Qualifications

• Experience with computerized scheduling and basic insurance co-pay processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• greet and assist patients and families, delivering prompt, caring service.
• perform visit preparation, co-pay collection, patient tracking and related duties.
• schedule patient visits or diagnostic tests within hospital procedures.
• manage third-party payors and co-pay collection.
• handle routine clerical tasks: faxing, copying, filing, mailings and messages.
• maintain front desk inventory and communicate needs to staff.
• support smooth office operation by prioritizing workload and deadlines.
• ensure clean department appearance and waiting area as needed.
• participate in cross-coverage and ensure HIPAA compliance.
