Job summary

UroPartners LLC is seeking a Patient Service Representative I in Melrose Park, IL. The role supports patient intake, checkout, and front desk operations with a focus on accuracy and courtesy.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect payments, verify insurance, and coordinate with clinical staff to maintain a seamless patient experience. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with starting wages of $18.00–$19.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; proficient in navigating EMRs.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy medical front desk.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; patient-focused.
• Basic knowledge of health insurance products and patient financial interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors at the front desk, in person or by phone.
• Register patients and update demographics; collect co-payments and balances.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals/authorizations as needed.
• Verify insurance information and ensure accurate patient charts and imaging where required.
• Maintain organized front desk area and ensure PHI confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
