The role also handles incoming calls, schedules intake appointments, and routes inquiries within the EHR system. Responsibilities include obtaining insurance details, verifying patient coverage, identifying amounts due, and referring AHCCCS screening needs to the eligibility team.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience with insurance verification/front desk in medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of AHCCCS and insurance is required; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle front-end operations for the assigned clinic.
• Register patients and verify demographics in the EHR.
• Schedule intake and follow-up appointments per clinical guidance.
