Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Business or Healthcare preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience with insurance verification and/or front desk in a medical office.
• Must have knowledge of AHCCCS, insurance, and strong customer service skills.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics.
• Create and maintain patient electronic charts.
• Answer clinic calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Schedule intake and follow-up appointments.
• Perform insurance verifications and identify patient amounts due.
• Identify AHCCCS eligibility and refer for screening.
