Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to handle front-end operations for the assigned clinic in Arizona. The role includes patient registration, demographic verification, and creating patient electronic charts.

You will answer calls, schedule intake appointments, verify insurance, and identify amounts due at visit time. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in medical front desk roles, and knowledge of AHCCCS.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of experience with insurance verification and/or front desk experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
• Must have knowledge of AHCCCS, insurance, and strong customer service skills.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-end operations for the clinic, including patient registration and demographic verification.
• Create and maintain patient electronic charts and schedule intake appointments.
• Answer clinic calls, route inquiries, and notify clinicians as needed.
• Verify insurance for each visit and identify patient amounts due at service time.
• Identify funding sources for uninsured patients and refer AHCCCS screening to the enrollment specialist.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with the clinical team.
