Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred in business or healthcare.
• 1–3 years of insurance verification or medical front desk experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AHCCCS and health insurance; excellent customer service.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Handle front-end clinic operations including patient registration and demographic verification.
• Create and maintain patient electronic chart; answer incoming calls and route as needed.
• Schedule intake appointments within established timeframes in CBI EHR/EPM system.
• Obtain demographics, insurance information, and perform insurance verifications for visits.
