Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support a multi-specialty clinic in Tinley Park. You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and register new patients while coordinating scheduling and testing.

The role requires 0–2 years in customer service and a high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Responsibilities emphasize confidentiality, accurate charting, and coordination with care teams.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients as they enter the office and performs patient registration including verifying insurance information and collecting co-pays and balances.
• Obtains and updates patient demographic information and company information.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments.
• Directs and documents patient calls as appropriate.
• Coordinates scheduling of outside testing for patients.
• Serves as liaison between patient and practice.
• Provides back-up for scheduling appointments.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality in all daily tasks.
• Completes daily reconciliation report to ensure charges are correct.
• Reviews Epic charts prior to appointments to ensure consents and current insurance cards.
