Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Patient Service Representative to support patient flow and front-desk operations in our Chicago-area clinics. You will greet patients, verify identities, collect co-pays, post payments, and schedule appointments while maintaining a welcoming, efficient front desk.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and 0–2 years of customer service experience; a Bachelor’s degree and healthcare familiarity are preferred.

• 0–2 years in customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and guests, confirm identity and provide visit information.
• Complete check-in/out functions and update demographics/insurance details.
• Collect co-payments, post payments, and handle end-of-day cash closing.
• Schedule appointments and inform patients of delays or changes.
• For ICCs, float to other clinics/departments as needed.
• Keep waiting area clean and comfortable.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
