Responsibilities

• Assist patients and visitors with check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phone inquiries.
• Register patients by collecting and verifying insurance information and demographics; direct patients to waiting areas.
• Process payments for physician or clinic services, post payments, and generate daily payment reports.
• Respond to routine inquiries about services and hours; address patient complaints appropriately.
• Support medical records duties by pulling charts, processing transfers, and filing records.
• Mentor and assist junior staff as requested.
