Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Patient Services Associate (PSA) for the Primary Care division in Pottstown, PA. You will assist in patient arrivals/departures, manage calls and inquiries, schedule appointments, and update demographic and insurance information in the EMR.

This full-time role supports high-quality patient-centered care and coordinates front-end operations. Required are a high school diploma and 2+ years medical office or 4 years customer service experience; knowledge of insurance

Qualifications

• 2+ years medical office experience, or 4 years of customer service experience (Required)
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient arrival and departure activities and manage patient calls and inquiries.
• Coordinate patient appointments and update insurance/billing information in EMR.
• Perform front-end and POS activities including copays, signatures, and referrals where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to a patient-centered experience
