Job summary

Penn Medicine Kennett Square is seeking a full-time Patient Services Associate to support patient access operations in our busy office. The PSA will handle intake, scheduling, insurance updates, and front-desk interactions, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality service.

This role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and knowledge of EMR systems. Responsibilities include answering calls, confirming appointments, collecting payments, and coordinating with clinical staff

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years medical office or 2 years customer service experience.
• Experience with EMR and patient registration preferred.
• Ability to manage schedules and appointments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intake, registration, and scheduling for patients.
• Manage patient calls and inquiries with professionalism.
• Coordinate appointments and update insurance/billing information.
• Handle patient check-in/check-out and collect copays as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
