Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests, confirms identity and provides visit information.
• Performs check-in/check-out functions as directed.
• Updates patient demographics/insurance information.
• Registers patients as needed and obtains required consents/authorizations.
• Collects co-payments and other payments; posts payments and closes cash drawer at end of day.
• Keeps waiting area clean and comfortable; informs patients of delays.
• Schedules appointments as necessary; floats to other care areas as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
