Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in customer service, insurance and/or healthcare setting preferred.
• Display proficient telephone and computer skills with clear and professional speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and schedule patients and/or visitors in a friendly, positive manner.
• Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff to ensure smooth communication.
• Obtain and confirm accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Route inquiries, complaints, and messages to appropriate parties.
• Assist patients with financial inquiries, including policies, insurance, payments, and other financial needs.
• Process payments, including co-pays and balances, and complete related workflows in the system.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and provide daily deposits to the appropriate staff.
