Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in customer service, insurance or healthcare preferred.
• Proficient in phone and computer use with clear speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, register, and schedule patients and visitors in a friendly manner.
• Act as liaison between patients and medical staff and handle inquiries.
• Obtain accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Route inquiries, complaints and messages to appropriate staff.
• Assist with financial inquiries, including payments and insurance policies.
• Collect payments like co-pays and balances, process deposits and batch work.
• Schedule appointments and ensure proper processing in queues.
• Provide accurate messages to the appropriate staff for processing.
