Prevea Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients and visitors, register them, and schedule appointments. You will act as a liaison between patients and the medical staff, ensuring a positive first impression whether on the phone, in person, or via MyPrevea.

The role requires strong telephone and computer skills, empathy, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in demographics, insurance data, and payments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience in customer service, insurance and/or healthcare preferred.
• Strong telephone and computer skills with clear, professional speaking abilities.
• Able to provide exceptional customer service by assessing patient needs and satisfaction.
• Empathetic, attentive listener with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilités

• Greet, register, and schedule patients and visitors in a friendly manner.
• Serve as liaison between patients and medical staff to route inquiries.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Assist patients with financial inquiries including policies and payments.
• Take payments such as co-pays and balances and process deposits daily.
• Complete account, referral, and claim workflows in queues.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and update records.
• Provide accurate batch and deposit information for processing.
