Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Seattle clinic. The role involves greeting patients, checking in, scheduling and guiding patients through the front desk process. Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients and their families as they arrive in the clinic.
• Answer telephones, confirm appointments, and transfer calls to appropriate staff as needed.
• Check in patients and collect updated information for the EHR.
• Assist with maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules as needed.
• Maintain front-desk areas, office files, and patient waiting areas.
• Prepare charts and accounts on a daily basis.
• Check insurance eligibility and scan insurance cards.
• Collect co-pays and close out cash drawer at day end.
• Explain sliding scale policy to self-pay patients and verify income information.
