Job summary

Neighborcare Health in Seattle, WA is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, check in for appointments, and schedule visits through checkout. As the first point of contact, you will warmly welcome patients and their families and serve as an information resource in the clinic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients and their families as they arrive in the clinic.
• Answers telephones, confirms appointments, and transfer calls to appropriate staff member, as needed.
• Check in patients, including providing forms and collecting updated patient information for the EHR.
• Assists with maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules, as needed.
• Maintains front-desk areas and office files in an organized, neat manner.
• Checks insurance eligibility and scans Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance cards.
