Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web based applications and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Certificate 1 Medical Admin Assistant Cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors with courtesy, service, respect and privacy.
• Performs check in, registration, scheduling, verification of demographic information and data entry.
• Collects co-payments following standards for co-payment processing.
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels appointments and enters referrals.
• Facilitates patient flow and acts as liaison between patients and staff to ensure service delivery.
• May perform billing-related tasks and participate in small projects as directed by management.
