Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a qualified administrative professional to manage patient scheduling, registration, and insurance verification across clinical services. You will coordinate tests and screenings, and support efficient flow of visits for high-volume operations.

The role requires effective communication with patients and staff, and proficiency with electronic medical records. Some regional travel may be required, as needed to support sites within the region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of clerical or administrative support experience in a customer-focused setting.
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical record systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete patient scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.
• Coordinate tests and screenings for applicable services and maintain clear communication with patients.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and address patient inquiries professionally.
• Assist with release of records and documentation for compliance needs.
