Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience in a highly customer-oriented organization.
• 1 year experience with basic keyboarding and personal computer use.
• 1 year of registration experience, point of service collection, insurance validation and order/records release.
• 1 year Revenue Cycle experience in a hospital medical office setting; Epic or similar EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete patient registration including walk-ins, check-ins, and scheduled visits.
• Verifies insurance coverage and referrals; explains copays and pre-appointment instructions.
• Coordinates scheduling, testing, and related services across hospital and physician offices.
• Handles inbound and outbound calls; assists patients and escalates complex issues as needed.
• Maintains accurate patient records in the EMR and ensures timely documentation.
