Job summary

Penn Medicine’s Penn Primary Care Lansdale location is seeking a Patient Services Associate to support a patient-centered practice. You will manage patient check-in/out, coordinate appointments, and assist in maintaining accurate insurance and billing information in the EMR.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, effective communication, and adherence to regulatory standards while contributing to high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of medical office or customer service experience.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient arrival and departure, manage calls and inquiries.
• Schedule patient appointments and update EMR with changes.
• Collect copays and obtain signatures, referrals, and insurance information.
• Communicate patient flow and wait times to the manager.
• Process referrals and pre-authorizations as required.
