Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience.
• 1 year of registration, point of service collection, insurance validation and order release experience.
• Epic or equivalent Electronic Medical Record experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete and accurate patient registration including walk-in, check-in, or scheduled.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt during high volumes and patient acuity.
• Support inbound and outbound calls to patients and guests, addressing concerns with escalation as needed.
• Verify insurance coverage and perform required referrals and authorization processes.
• Process and release records and orders in the EMR; communicate with health information management as needed.
