Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Patient Engagement Associate to support Penn Medicine practices, affiliated physicians, and program services. The role engages patients via phone, chat, and other omni-channel platforms for registration, scheduling, referrals, and clinical communications.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of customer service experience in healthcare, familiarity with EMR/CRM systems, and complete EPIC scheduling training.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED is required.
• 1+ years of customer service, clerical, or healthcare-related experience preferred; 3 years preferred.
• Experience using EMR/CRM systems required.
• Must successfully complete EPIC schedgistration training/tests.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Engagement Associate provides patient-centric customer service to Penn Medicine patients via phone, chat and omni-channel platforms.
• Responsibilities include registration and appointment scheduling, responding to campaigns, referral navigation, and other clinical communications.
