Job summary

Penn Medicine Cherry Hill is seeking a Patient Services Associate (PSA) to support the practice by maintaining a patient-focused environment and delivering high-quality care. The PSA handles patient arrivals, calls, appointment scheduling, and insurance/billing updates in a fast-paced, onsite setting.

Responsibilities include processing check-ins/outs, collecting copays, and ensuring smooth patient flow while adhering to regulatory standards and Penn Medicine policies.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required; 2+ years medical office or relevant customer service experience.
• Associate's/Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with arrival/departure of patients, manage calls and inquiries.
• Coordinate patient appointments and update insurance/billing information.
• Handle front-end tasks including check-in/out procedures and copay collection.
• Communicate patient flow and wait times to management and team.
