Job summary

Qualifications

• Zero to two years’ experience in a customer service position.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree and working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and performs patient registration, verifies insurance, and collects co-pays.
• Updates patient demographics and company information.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments.
• Directs and documents patient calls as appropriate.
• Coordinates scheduling of outside testing for patients.
• Acts as liaison between patient and practice.
• Provides back-up for scheduling and ensures patient confidentiality.
