Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, registers them, verifies insurance, and collects co-pays.
• Updates patient demographics and company information.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments.
• Directs and documents patient calls as appropriate.
• Coordinates scheduling of outside testing for patients.
• Serves as liaison between patient and practice.
• Provides back-up for scheduling appointments.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality in daily work.
• Completes daily reconciliation to ensure charges are entered correctly.
• Pulls charts and readies them for next day appointments.
• Files test/procedure results after physician review.
• Responds to medical record requests per protocol.
