Duke Health is seeking an organized patient access associate within the Patient Revenue Management Organization to support daily clinic operations, patient check-in/out, and charge posting. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, HIPAA compliance, and compassionate service.

You will coordinate labs, schedule tests, and assist with referrals while handling payments and explanations of billing to patients. This onsite position runs weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and requires strong

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily clinic preparation, patient identification, check-in/out, and scheduling.
• Enter pre-visit orders and prepare patient charts; collect co-payments.
• Manage and file medical records and encounter forms for accuracy.
• Explain billing to patients according to PRMO policies and gather signatures as needed.
• Coordinate labs and referrals; assist with tests, procedures, and documentation.
