Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a Patient Care Representative in Brockton, MA to deliver exceptional service and maintain patient privacy. You will greet patients, collect payments, assist with iPad check-in, and coordinate language services as needed.

You will work with technologists and radiologists to ensure smooth patient flow, handle mail and scheduling, and support onboarding while upholding HIPAA standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and basic medical office exposure is helpful.
• Excellent communication and computer skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, collect copay/deductible/coinsurance and explain forms.
• Assist with iPad check-in, troubleshoot and provide feedback.
• Identify language service needs and coordinate accordingly.
• Ensure HIPAA and privacy policies are followed throughout.
• Collaborate with technologists and radiologists to maintain patient flow.
• Process mail and deliveries; prepare next day’s schedule and address issues.
• Verify and enter information into systems; respond to scheduling emergencies.
• Support waitlist templates and maintain survey response targets; assist onboarding.
