SunState Medical Specialists is seeking a Patient Services Specialist in Florida to provide administrative and general support to staff, patients, and physicians, ensuring a high-quality, professional service. The role links patients with clinical teams and requires strong organizational skills.

The position involves managing patient flow, handling calls, assisting with billing questions, maintaining records, and scheduling physician appointments.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Administrative experience in a busy, customer-focused environment; medical setting preferred.
• Ability to handle urgent matters and time-critical medical appointments.
• Strong organization and communication skills; liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of patient billing systems and related funding mechanisms.
• Experience using clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office.
• Collaborative approach with the wider administration team.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Willingness to travel to other centers.

• Provide high-level customer service to patients and staff.
• Monitor patient feedback and respond appropriately.
• Manage patient flow and direct as needed.
• Answer and handle all incoming calls promptly.

• Assist with admitting/discharging patients around visits.

• Register all documents for consultations.
• Create referring doctor records as needed.
• Follow up on referrals.
• Manage documents.
