SunState Medical Specialists is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to provide administrative and general support to staff, patients and Physicians, ensuring high-quality, professional and efficient service. This role links patients with clinical teams and requires strong organizational skills.

The position includes handling patient billing questions, maintaining records, scheduling physician appointments, and maintaining welcoming patient areas; travel to other centers may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in an administrative role within a busy, customer-focused environment, medical preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing systems and related funding mechanisms.
• Ability to use clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office software.
• Collaborative approach with wider administration team and internal customers.
• Flexible approach to work and travel to other centers.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative and general support to staff, patients and Physicians.
• Monitor and respond to patient feedback and inquiries.
• Direct patient flow and manage appointment scheduling with clinicians.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and handle queries per privacy policy.
• Assist with patient questions regarding billing and insurance payments.
• Maintain and improve waiting room and patient-facing spaces.
• Ensure accurate patient records and registration details.
