Responsibilities

• Greets patients and coordinates efficient patient flow; schedules appointments and collects co-pays.
• Registers patients, verifies insurance, and explains patient responsibility.
• Posts Time-of-Service payments and prepares charge batches as assigned.
• Answers phones, triages calls, and disseminates messages to appropriate staff.
• Prepares and updates forms, scans and indexes records for medical files.
• Ensures accurate and timely data entry for patient demographics and charges.
