Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Westlake is hiring a Patient Service Specialist. This role supports patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification and co-pay collection while delivering a high level of service in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist patients, families and visitors, ensure accurate data entry, and educate patients about MyChart and Appointment Pass. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a respected healthcare system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Associate's Degree and one year of experience with healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree may substitute for experience.
• Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer services and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive and 'Patients First' experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Create a welcoming, professional environment and ensure stellar patient experiences.
• Registration, scheduling, triage, insurance verification and co-pay collection.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information.
• Recruit, enroll and educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass.
