Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients, collect co-pays, assist with scheduling and pre-registration, and support MyChart enrollment. You will partner with physicians to ensure a smooth checkout and build a positive patient experience in a busy ambulatory setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and teamwork, with a day-to-evening schedule across shifts to support patient access and care continuity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required, with two years of relevant experience OR an Associate's Degree and one year of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree can substitute for experience.
• Working knowledge of PC Windows applications is expected.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients, collect co-pays, and prepare for visits.
• Assist with kiosk use and MyChart enrollment.
• Schedule appointments and support pre-registration and checkout processes.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure smooth checkouts and patient flow.
• Enter and maintain patient information in systems.
