Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Florida is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support front-end patient registration and scheduling at Parkland, with rotating day/evening shifts. You will help ensure a welcoming patient experience and coordinate with Care teams across Parkland Primary Care and Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, co-pay collection, and promoting MyChart usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
• OR an Associate's Degree with 1 year of experience.
• OR a Bachelor's Degree.
• Proficient with PC window applications.
• Ability to perform basic math for insurance co-pays.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive 'Patients First' experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Register patients, schedule visits, verify insurance, collect co-pays.
• Educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass.
• Support scheduling, interpreter services, and record keeping.
