Job summary

SMART Pain Management, LLC seeks a Front Desk Representative to ensure smooth patient flow from arrival to departure. You will collect demographics and insurance details, register patients in the EMR, and support financial transactions and scheduling.

You will provide outstanding customer service, handle phone inquiries, and assist with forms while adhering to HIPAA regulations and company standards. This role is on-site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication, including exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Ability to accurately collect and maintain money.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and handle stressful situations with patience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate flow of patient information and register at arrival.
• Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information into EMR.
• Assist patients with forms and check-in/check-out processes.
• Collect co-pays and balances; perform daily reconciliation of cash.
• Schedule follow-up appointments per insurance guidelines.
• Maintain waiting area and support staff as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation such as referrals and insurance cards is current.
