Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology is preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience with EHR and practice management systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet visitors, patients, and families in a friendly, professional manner and direct them appropriately.
• Manage patient registration to maintain efficient flow and provide strong customer service.
• Answer phones promptly, take accurate messages, and route them appropriately.
• Inform patients of delays and assist with patient comfort.
• Process self-pay charges, collect payments, and reconcile daily payments and deposits.
• Scan insurance cards, verify insurance, and update patient accounts and demographics.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and manage waitlists; review eligibility and phone reports.
• Enter orders for diagnostic tests and procedures; coordinate pre-authorizations as needed.
• Communicate problems or issues promptly to the supervisor/manager.
