Job summary

Summit Medical Group in New Jersey is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, manage registrations, verify insurance, and support scheduling and billing. You will contribute to patient satisfaction by handling calls, assisting with visits, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and experience with EHR/practice management systems. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associates preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Maintain patient flow through registration and provide excellent customer service.
• Answer calls, take messages, and direct to appropriate staff.
• Inform patients of delays and assist with comfort.
• Process self-pay charges and reconcile daily payments.
