Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s Longmont United Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide clerical/office support in a physician clinic, handling reception, telephone, medical records, charge entry, referrals, and information retrieval.

You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care, manage patient data accurately, schedule appointments, and collect payments at time of service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with basic office and computer skills, filing, telephone answering, reception, and basic software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/caregivers and provide assistance reflecting high quality service.
• Verify accuracy and update demographic data in the electronic health record; identify barriers.
• Gather and process information for medical records, referrals, billing, and treatment purposes.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and revise as needed.
• Maintain patient charts and process payments at time of service.
