Patient Service Representative

Join our Patient Service Representative team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will provide clerical and office support within a physician clinic, including reception, telephone handling, medical records management, charge entry, referrals, and retrieval of medical information from internal and external systems and sources. You will also support communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship‑based care, the organizational mission, and core values.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical/office support within a physician clinic (reception, telephone, medical records, charge entry, referrals, and retrieval of medical information from internal and external systems and sources).
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Requirements

• Previous work history demonstrating basic office and computer skills, including filing, telephone answering, reception, and basic knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word, e‑mail, and Excel.
• High‑school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work – prolonged periods of sitting with occasional exertion to lift or move up to 10 lbs.
