You will verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, enter charges, schedule appointments, and help maintain accurate patient demographics while ensuring a friendly, organized reception area. This role requires high school education, customer service experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
• Computer skills are required.
• Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends.
• Willing to work at other centers as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and manages sign-in and front office appearance.
• Verifies patient insurance eligibility and collects co-payments; updates demographics.
• Answers calls and schedules appointments.
• Balance daily transactions and take deposits as needed.
• Assist in training new employees and maintain compliance with policies.
• Handle patient records/files and assist with referrals to billing as needed.
