The ideal candidate has strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This is a full-time position based at Piedmont Urgent Care in Macon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems, EPIC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Warm Welcome: greet patients with a positive attitude and make them feel valued.
• Patient/Business Documentation: maintain confidentiality and organize essential documents.
• Insurance Verification: verify benefits, eligibility, and communicate payment policies.
• Financial Responsibility: collect and explain patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Collaborative Support: assist the practice manager, providers, and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Compliance: adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards in all documentation and processes.
• Travel: support staffing needs by traveling to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
