Piedmont Urgent Care by WellStreet is seeking a Patient Services Representative (Medical Receptionist) in East Point, GA. You will be the first contact for patients, managing the front desk, processing documents, verifying insurance, and collecting costs to ensure smooth clinic flow.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Shifts are 12 hours with weekends and holidays possible, offering full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, especially EPIC, is preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
• Team-oriented, patient-focused approach and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage front-office operations.
• Handle patient and business documentation with confidentiality.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain payment policies.
• Collect patient financial responsibility and explain costs.
• Support the practice manager and clinical staff as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance and proper documentation.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
• Other assigned duties.
