Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors with a positive attitude, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Maintain confidentiality while collecting and organizing important patient and business documents.
• Analyze health insurance benefits, verify eligibility, and provide patients with payment policies and billing information.
• Determine and collect each patient’s financial responsibility, ensuring transparency about costs.
• Assist the practice manager, providers, and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
