Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care is hiring a Patient Service Representative (Medical Receptionist) to be the first point of contact for patients, manage front-office operations, and support clinic workflows in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

This full-time role covers 3-day/12-hour shifts (8 AM–8 PM), requires strong communication, EMR experience preferred, and travel to other Piedmont locations as needed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Admin certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with a positive attitude, ensuring comfort and value.
• Maintain confidentiality while collecting and organizing patient documents.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain payment policies and billing information.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibility with transparency.
• Support clinic staff and managers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
