CRH Healthcare is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide excellent customer service to patients and clerical support to clinical staff at Peachtree Immediate Care in Georgia. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients, checking in, verifying insurance, and coordinating with providers.

The role requires strong communication skills, a friendly attitude, and reliability. Flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts and the ability to assist patients with ambulatory needs are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of reception/front desk experience.
• Customer service experience in a healthcare outpatient setting preferred.
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts during the week or weekend as needed.
• Ability to escort or transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher when needed.
• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Types 25 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the waiting area in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Check in patients, verify insurances, update patient information, and collect copay.
• Serve as a patient advocate to coordinate with clinical staff and providers.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly.
• Maintain a neat and orderly waiting room.
• Assist patients with ambulatory difficulties, including wheelchair assistance.
• Open and close clinic procedures and reporting.
• Perform additional clerical duties as necessary.
