Neighborcare Health in Seattle, WA is seeking a Lead Patient Services Representative (Lake City) to greet patients, schedule appointments, check in, and guide families through the front-desk process. You will support care coordination and participate in population health initiatives as part of a clinic team.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and families as they arrive in the clinic.
• Answer telephones, confirm appointments, and transfer calls to appropriate staff as needed.
• Check in patients, collect updated information, and enter data into the EHR.
• Assist with maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules.
• Keep front-desk areas and waiting rooms organized and tidy.
• Prepare charts and accounts daily as applicable.
• Check insurance eligibility and scan Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance cards.
• Collect co-pays and fees as needed, including end-of-day drawer closeout.
• Explain Neighborcare's sliding scale policy to self-pay patients and enter income data into the system.
• Schedule walk-in patients for same-day appointments.
