Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist; 2 years preferred.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months as a PSA or in a similar health care role.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• Valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Advocate Services III functions as an AltaMed ambassador in welcoming and attending to the needs of all patients and creates a positive front office patient experience by managing expectations while demonstrating compassion and respect.
• Lead is a member of the health care team by assisting in the delivery of patient-focused care with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The Lead assists in achieving department goals and objectives by providing support and guidance to the PSA team as a mentor and trainer.
