Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Patient Services Advocate to warmly welcome and assist all patients at the front office, manage expectations, and ensure a respectful, compassionate environment. You will be the friendly first point of contact and a key part of the care delivery team.

Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma, 1–2 years in customer service, and bilingual abilities (English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese). A valid BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher preferred per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Services Advocate welcomes and attends to the needs of patients and creates a positive front office experience by managing expectations with compassion and respect.
• Acts as a health care team member by assisting in delivery of patient-focused care and demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
