Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the friendly first contact for patients and visitors. You will help create a positive, seamless experience at the front desk, guiding patient flow and workflows in a busy clinic environment.

Strong communication, basic computer skills, accurate data entry, and a patient‑centered approach are essential. Training will be provided through Clinic Core Front Desk sessions after hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for patient and staff interactions.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, data entry and word processing.
• Excellent customer service, empathy, patience and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Adaptable and calm under pressure; follow privacy policies.
• Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire.
