Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college work preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ customer service experience required. Experience in a medical office; specifically, urology, preferred.
• Basic knowledge of CPT coding and ICD-10 coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Register patients and update demographics by collecting detailed information including insurance cards.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Verify insurance information and benefits.
• Maintain front desk organization and confidentiality.
